Vagina is a natural part of our body but people do not pay enough attention to it and do not speak about it openly. In this post, we will explain some important aspects that you should know to familiarize yourself with it.
First of all, we are going to differentiate the vulva, which is the outer part of the female genitals, and the vagina, which is inner cavity. We can find the vagina, the uterus, the fallopian tube and the ovaries inside the internal genitals. The walls of the vagina are stuck each other and they separate when something is inserted in it.
If you want to know your vagina, you can put a mirror opposite your vulva or you can introduce a finger in it. You will feel that the walls are rough and if you introduce the full finger, you will feel a smooth surface and slightly hard; that is the uterine cervix.

Having a good hygiene is essential to prevent these situations, and in case having an infection, check with your doctor as soon as possible. A quite common infection is bacterial vaginosis. Exercises to strengthen your muscles
Kegel exercises strengthen your pelvic floor avoiding from urinary incontinence. Several times a day, you can contract the pelvic muscles for about 8 seconds. Next, release the muscles, count 10 seconds and start over again. You can do it sitting or lying until 10 times
These exercises are fantastic, but careful as if you squeeze your backside, you will not be working your pelvis muscles.
False myths
A lot of people think that heels strengthen the vagina. The truth is very different due to high heels can damage and descend the uterus.
